I just read the response from EM. I, too, also worked at LA Weightloss and I
can confirm all the advice she gave you! LA Weightloss is a good program but
it is high presssure sales and they will "require" that you buy their
supplements! I hated that part of my job. I was a nutrition counselor who was
given very little training. My main job was to motivate people and I really
enjoyed helping them achieve their weightloss goals. I had one client who lost
110 lbs and I was her main counselor. I was very proud of her. I gave her a
hug every time she came in! When she reached her weight loss goal, she brought
her Mom and boyfriend in to meet me....she thanked me for helping her lose the
weight...and I said "Honey, you don't need to thank me,...you did all the
work"...and she said...."Yes, but you loved me through it"...I will never
forget her words. They brought tears to my eyes. It was clients like her that
kept me working there. I would still be there, but they fired me when I was
hospitalized with crohns disease. I went to the labor relations board, got my
job back, went back to work and was hospitalized a month later...they fired me
a second time!!!!!..Said I was "too ill" to work there. I have nothing
positive to say about LA Weightloss...I would advise you to save your money
and go to Weight Watchers or a similar program where you will get
support....that, in my opinion, is one of the most important things. As others
have said, you will get the same support here!!!!! Good Luck, MaryAnn
