Default Still at 235 -- But a lot of competition for attention

I'm still at 235 (perhaps 2 pounds over that), but now wear an air-
cast on my left foot. Please avoid "insertional Achilles tendonitis"
if you can. Hurts a fair amount and restricts one's walking. I'm told
the pain will go away within two weeks, as long as I wear the air-cast
and restrict my activities. I'm sure this is one of the insults
associated with aging. (As my father used to say, "Consider the
alternative!")

Also tonight (4-3-07) we had several excellent guests on our live,
call-in cable TV show: "Progressive Radio on TV." Tonight our title
was "Seriously ****ed Off Grannies" and we had two people from Surge
Protection here in Portland, Oregon. Super ladies! They get arrested
for doing what they believe in -- putting their bodies on the line to
stop the War in Iraq. And we all know that it's not a war -- it's an
occupation.

To see a bit of the background of our show tonight, go to
www.progressiveradioontv.com I'm going to put this show (and other
recent ones) on Google Videos in the next few days.

Also, three weeks ago we had the 2007 Portland Peace March here in
Portland and our videos of that are on www.lightningtoweb.com

Some things are just much less important than people dying in Iraq and
elsewhere.

My exercise is curtailed for a few weeks, and my calories have to
decline even more as a result.

My pants of 93 days ago are still too huge for me and will be thrown
away soon.

Interesting about the Achilles tendon problem -- first bothered me
about a year ago but at least now I have an air-cast (says my
podiatrist) if the problem recurs. He says that everything should be
okay in a month or so but that no stretching for two weeks.

Oh, well! "In the fullness of time!"

I hope everyone is well and is approaching their health goals!

Yours truly,

Caleb
