GG---I come from a long line of Irish drunks.
....But, this too, is relative. Back when I used to do a quart of rum a
day and threw the occasional chair thru the window and whatnot, I used
to worry about it.

Compared to that, my liter of wine with no hystronics pales. I think,
these days, it's mostly boredom + habit.

Im not going to drink any more wine, period, until 20 pounds is off.
That will give me time to get used to it and decide whether to
re-introduce it in moderation or forget the wine thing entirely.
