Default Another Way to Cook Chicken

I've been doing that recipe for years, even pre- LC. Garlic instead of
onions, tho. I always serve it to guest the first time we have them over.

Hi All,

I haven't had a chance to try this recipe yet, but my Grandmother found it

in a
magazine, and since she knows I'm low-carbing and ALWAYS on the lookout

for a
new way to cook chicken, she called and gave me the ingredients. It

sounds
VERY easy (only 5 ingredients) and I'm planning on trying it for dinner
tonight.

Chicken Breasts, boneless & skinless, pounded to about 1/4" thickness
Cream Cheese Spread with onions & chives (I didn't know they made this

flavored
variety, if I can't find it at the store, I'll soften regular cream cheese

and
make my own)
Bacon
Salt & Pepper to Taste

Its basically this....pound the chicken to about 1/4" thickness
spread cream cheese mixture, about 2 tablespoons per breast.
Fold chicken breast, or roll
Wrap 1 piece of bacon around chicken (secure with toothpick)
salt & pepper to taste
bake in 400 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is done. If

bacon
is still undercooked, broil briefly.

Seems VERY easy and sounds just yummy! Also, I'm sure it could be tried

with
other flavored cheese spreads (like Alouette or Rodelle etc) I'll give it

a
try tonight and post my results.

Enjoy!
