Carol - I highly doubt its the exercise that has bulked you up...
unless you count the exercise your jaw is getting from all the nuts,
honey and dried fruit you are chewing on.


I have weighed this same weight before, prior to regular exercise and
weight lifting and my body composition is much different than when
formerly at that same weight. Remember those are my carbohydrate
sources as I eat no grains, rice, potatoes or sweet potatoes,root
veggies like parsnips,beets Jerusalem artichokes carrots. Before this
bulking up I also ate nuts, honey and dried fruit.

I have to make a determination as to whether to considerably reduce
exercises like squats and see if this affects weight retention and
measurements. I was very happy at my lower weight and started the
increased exercise and weights to counter osteoporosis, something I
certainly want to slow down.

I am trying to see if I can strike some sort of compromise as i am
miserable with how I look and how my clothes fit even if the weight
differntial sounds small and petty to ohers. The difference reprsents
one inch in measurements and one size in clothing unless I want it to
be tight.

Your support is appreciated but may be a little misdirected. We'll see.
