Default Day 56 -- Still 25 pounds gone :)

Day 56 and still 25 pounds are gone
265/240/200

Got on my scale today and saw that again I was close to 239 but not
quite low enough to break through. Oh, well!

We had guests over last night and while I had a bit more wine than I
probably should have, I didn't overeat, didn't eat the food when we
cleaned up, didn't have dessert, didn't have more wine, etc. So
probably about 2000 calories yesterday but quite good in some aspects
of self control.

I walked up my little hill yesterday and this morning I went out
walking with two friends. One of them wants to lose 10 pounds in a
little more than a month and so we agreed (to the wager of $100) that
by March 27, he will have lost 10 pounds and I will have lost 8 more.
(I'm not sure I would find it easy to lose 10 pounds - the easy pounds
have all gone away.) Very, very wet walk for the most part and my
jeans I got drenched under my rain jacket. For much of the country 44
degrees wouldn't seem very cold, but here 48 degrees was cold and wet,
especially with some cars splashing water on us as we trudged on
narrow sidewalks.

I hope everyone has great success with their health program, today,
and in the weeks and months ahead!
