Default Weekly Workouts Jan 1-7, 2007

Mon: weights & core work
Tues: 2 miles, hill work (up and down the nasty hills next my
apartment, ug!)
Wed: 3 miles, slow pace of 10 min miles
Thurs: 2 miles, mid tempo, 9 min mile, with a warm of up 10 min miles,
the first and last half mile
Fri: no work out
Sat: 2.5 miles, mid tempo
Sun: 6 miles LSD (long slow distance, 10 min miles)

Total for week: 15.5 miles
Total for 2007: 15.5 miles


Well, I really do this already, but at least this once for the heck of
it:

Mon: weights, yoga
Tues: 4 mile run (steady pace, slighltly hilly)
Wed: weights, yoga
Thurs: 3 hours shoveling & hauling mulch (counts as exercise in my
book :-) )
Fri: weights, yoga
Sat: hip-hop class
Sun: 5 mile run, hilly

Since I'm not really trying to be a runner, I don't worry about adding
up mileage. It's less this week than it might have been because I did
the mulching work at the conservancy instead of my Thursday run. Today
was a pretty good run, though. I ran to the winery, and I live at the
foothills of a small mountain and the winery is on the other of the
mountain. The run is through a pass, but it's still quite a hilly
route. (One of these days I want to run back -- after a wine & cheese
break -- but not today -- the weather was going downhill rapidly.)
