Since I'm not really trying to be a runner, I don't worry about adding
up mileage. It's less this week than it might have been because I did
the mulching work at the conservancy instead of my Thursday run. Today
was a pretty good run, though. I ran to the winery, and I live at the
foothills of a small mountain and the winery is on the other of the
mountain. The run is through a pass, but it's still quite a hilly
route. (One of these days I want to run back -- after a wine & cheese
break -- but not today -- the weather was going downhill rapidly.)
Do be so sure, Chris, it looks like you might have the makings of a
distance runner.
You're up 5 miles, that's great!
Well, it's really not a goal I have -- I'm more into a general fitness
mode. And I probably do way too much weight training to be a serious
runner. I enjoy the running, though. I find it much more fun when
I'm actually going someplace, like today, than just running around the
neighborhood. I need to find more ways to do that sort of thing.
