percentage that most people get to in order to see their abs?

I do have some limitations to some exercises due to my disability after
being in an accident, but this mainly is targeted to my legs.

Sit ups do nothing to help show off abs. Everyone has a perfect 6 pack,
it's just hidden by a nice thick layer of fat. If you want visible abs, you
need to drop bodyfat until you can see them.
