Default OK, how about the 10 BEST foods!

Mine would be:

1. Fruits and veggies (DUH!!!)

2. Almonds (not the type that's cooked in oils... but the dry ones...)

3. Low fat/Non fat milk cheeses, especially the Laughing Cow
spreadable cheese in garlics and chives. Only 35 calories of YUM per
wedge!!! :-P~~

4. Low fat milk/Silk Light (for those who are allergic to milk
proteins.)

5. Whole wheat breads/pastas/brown rice - Fiber, nuf said

6. Fish (not shellfish but finfish)

7. Chicken/Turkey - Low fat but plenty of protein.

8. Hummus - again, low cal... high in fiber

9. Egg whites - Very low cal... no cholesterol... if you cook it with
mushrooms, onion, leftover turkey meat from Thanksgiving and a light
coat of canola or olive oil and top it with some salsa... And
speaking of salsa...

10. Avocado - yeah, it's fatty, but in small doses, it's definitely
healthy... and it's healthy fats too -- raises the HDL (the good
cholesterol.) And who complains about gaucamole. Just a couple of
Tbsp and it's only about 50 calories of yummy topping to your egg
whites.

Well, I have one more... but it's obvious....

11. WATER!!! Cleans the system!!! Quenches thrist w/o adding
calories... and green tea (not the type with honey in it... but plain
green tea) and herbal teas are just as soothing and warming as any
Starbucks coffee! Also won't stick to most furniture when
spilled. :-)
