Canned vegetables are high in sodium

Yes, and I do eat those on occasion, I really need to switch to fresh,
steamed veggies. Yum! I LOVE those!

I use a de-juicer machine and juice six to ten different vegetables
and drink eight ounces of it twice a day.

I work in a large kitchen at a Christian college and since I began to
use my juicer machine I keep my eyes open for dicarded vegetable
parts.

The kitchen workers in the Salad Department always cut the pealings
off the cantaloupes and mellons. A fellow cook of mine (I am a cook)
was cutting the tops and bottoms off five hundred large green sweet
bell peppers and I asked them both for the peelings and pepper pieces
so I could juice them.

They throw away pounds of vegetable parts each day. Or they did.

I believe in the power of plants. I have read a few books on this
subject and they states that one can get most if not all of their
needed nutritional needs from plants.

I do eat fish a few times a week for its oil. (salmon)

I Fast a few times a month to give my body a break from digesting
solid foods. When I fast I just drink my vegetable juice and I have
yet to feel weak, tired or hungry. I do three 24 and one 48 hour fast
each month. It also helps me with my weight lost. ( I have about fifty
pounds I want to lose)

Good idea! I have a juicer, which I don't use often enough.
