You've close to the healthy weight range (at 5'9" and 177, your BMI is
26), so it's not surprising that your weight loss is going to be
slowing down. Don't panic. Two weeks at the same weight doesn't
count as a real "plateau".

Have
back, hip and foot pain, so walking is the exercise I try to do.


Can you swim or do water aerobics? A half-hour walk at a slow pace
isn't going to do much to help you lose weight (though of course all
exercise is good exercise )
