Worst "Food" Imaginable

Let's pull this into a separate thread. I'm fascinated by the concepts of the stuff people will actually put in their mouths. (Fascinated in the same way as when I watch operations on TV or can't look away from a car wreck.) How'd I miss this thread? I love talking about gross food! Corn dogs make it onto my list. I'm not saying I don't like them, but hot dogs are gross, and when you dip one into cornbread batter and fry it, it sure isn't healthy. Also none too nutritious but tasty to some: - Pop Tarts - Snack cakes (Twinkies, Little Debbies) - Bologna/salami Things I never would have considered eating if I didn't know that people already did: - any kind of shellfish, especially lobsters and shrimp - eggs - mushrooms Gross things I ate when I was a kid: - peanut butter and bologna sandwiches - donut sundaes (heated donut, scoop of ice cream, topping--pb or syrup) - fried bread (my mom's way of making toast when my father took the toaster apart) -Alison |

Worst "Food" Imaginable
Speaking of gross.... Today, one of the guys brought enchiladas to work. It
was very sweet of him. They were home-made, he cooked them, and they were tasty but swimming (and I DO mean swimming) in fat. I took a very small portion for my lunch, but I didn't even finish it. I've completely lost interest in fat. Even with the small sample I ate, I felt disgusted with the slimy feeling of the food. Everyone else (used to a high-fat diet, I suppose) thought they were great, fantastic, etc. I did enjoy the salsa, though. Cat |

http://www.negativecaloriefoods.com/index.html#section1 There are supposed to be around 100 negative calorie foods on the list. There is a downloadable ebook that I believe contains what you're looking for. It costs around $18.00 USD. Hope this helps. |
