But I think Rob had more muscle: http://www.rustyiron.net/rschuh.htm Yeah...I already saw his pics from another thread. He looks good. I guess I'm a weightlifter, not a bodybuilder. I lift quite a bit, but also do a lot of karate still. My strength has steadily increased over the 3 years I've been lifting, but I don't seem to bulk up much. Too much cardio, bagwork, kicking etc. Although, I have reshaped everything. My main priority isn't size, but rather strength and speed. A little bigger would be nice however...which is why I'm here. I've already changed some things in my workout since I've been hanging out on MFW. Most you guys really know your stuff from what I can tell with my limited knowledge. And those that post bad advice get a reaming from those that do...just my kind of place. -Larry |

How to acquire a "rugged look"?

If you're asking because you want this look, why do you want it? IMO a lot of women (including me) don't really like men to look too "rugged" - I wonder what the other women here think? janice 233/177/133 |

How to acquire a "rugged look"?
Some men look "rugged". Some others look like they are big babies. I
am not exactly sure what constitutes the difference exactly. I always considered "rugged" to be a euphemism for either an ugly man, or a man weathered to look significantly older than his actual age. -- jamie ) "There's a seeker born every minute." |

How to acquire a "rugged look"?
You need to read the feminine press about what to do to prevent skin aging
and keep a perfect skin and all. Note everything they tell you to do, then do the exact opposite : bake in the sun for hours without using a suncream (skin cancer does wonders for that rugged look thing!), try to get dehydrated, do not use *any* kind of skin crean - ever, use the most abrasive soap you can find, use only *real* soap, not these fake soap-less soaps... Basically, "rugged" look usually means having your skin sun-tanned and ****ed up twenty years beyond your real age... |

Opinion of women other than my wife is quite secondary in importance. Good - I'm glad to hear it Have you asked her what she thinks? janice 233/177/133 |

Ugly, but rugged, and you could argue handsome because of it. There is a certain draw guys like that have with many women. -Larry |
