Default Motto on the hourly chime -- does anyone do this?

I've started doing this the last several days and it makes a lot of
difference. Does anyone do anything like this?

So the chime on my watch goes off and I said today: "This is day 6 and
4 pounds are gone. I know that in a 100 days if I remain on my 1000
calorie a day diet, 50 pounds will be gone. I know that if I do not
give in to hunger, it will lose its power over me and I will be
healthier, happier, more successful. I know that if I am good enough
for long enough I WILL REACH MY GOAL. And when I do, I will be
happier, healthier, more comfortable and I will be proud I made the
journey again!"

Your words, of course, may vary. But does anyone use the hourly chimes
for their chants/affirmations?

I put little labels on my watch and right now I have a 6 over a 4
indicating that in 6 days, I've lost 4 pounds. Given my weight, sex,
age, a 1000 calories a day will result in slightly more than 55 pounds
of weight loss in a 100 days.

So every hour I tell myself the truth about calories, etc.

But does anyone else use a chime as a reminder for chanting, mottoes,
etc.?

If they do, I'd like to hear the chant. And if not, what would you
say.

Yours,

Caleb
