What's up with Cubit? Having a bad day or something? That's the
first time I've been accused of spamming. What exactly is your
problem with someone mentioning a product they like so that others may
benefit?

I use soybeans, black and red all the time, in any recipes that call for
beans. They are much lower in carbohydrate than all other beans, taste
as good and most people don't notice the substitution. I use them for
chili con carne as well as in soups, casseroles, or bean salads. The
type I buy, here in Oz, are 3% carb, low in both calories and fat. A
useful food. They are 6% fibre also. In Oz fibre is listed as a separate
carb, not in the carb total.

I have a couple of dessert recipes that use ground black soybeans as a
replacement for flour. I haven't tried them yet, though.

aren't they great ? I was finally able to find them dry in a middle eastern
store......thought the Eden ones were a little pricey
