Default Livin' Low Carb

Hi. I haven't been here in a while and there's so much to catch up on.
But I did want to let everyone know that I have just started a new Low
Carb Forum that will be a great place to share recipes, stories, pics
or whatever. It's just for low carbers and it might make it a bit
easier to find an old recipe or what not.

Anyway, for those of you who don't know, I am a low carbing diabetic so
if any of you fall into that category there's a forum for Diabetes
Management.

So drop by and let me know what you think and start a journal while
you're there.

In the meantime I've got some catching up to do.

Visit me at: http://www.livinlowcarb.com

I think the same thing they think in ASD where this was posted.

Tunnel Vision strikes again. Do you have any basis for your evaluation
or do you let others think for you.

Ahhh, why bother. Seems folks in other forums are much more receptive
to sharing ideas and enjoying each other successes.

News groups just don't seem to get it.

This group has great information but sometimes difficult to navigate.
Heaven forbid someone might offer an easier way to exchange information.

Yeah, why should anyone be skeptical of your LC forum site that says
"Lose 9 Lbs every 11 days" right at the top and then when you click on
it, takes you to a commercial site called Fatlossforidiots that tells
you that "Low carb diets do not work and tries to sell you some calorie
rotation scheme. Sounds like Fatlossforidiots is an appropriate site
for Pharby, but not the rest of us!

Even if we accept your point, there are already several low carb sites with
extensive forums that have been running for years without all of the
flacking for fad diets you do. Why should anyone visit yours instead of:

http://forum.lowcarber.org/index.php

http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/

http://bbs.eatprotein.com/

http://www.lowcarbsite.com/

Why don't you take a look to the right of your screen. Even this group
has Google targeted ads. That's what they are. I know you're familiar
with them. As for the products and product placement, lowcarbfriends
is laden with ads. That forum is very good but it is very large.
Sometimes the small, friendly communities are more fun.

Also, the home page for lowcarber.org has targeted Google ads as well.

Many of us don't use Google to read this newsgroup.

I have absolutely no adds on my Netscape Newsreader using Earthlink.

There are no ads to the right of this newsgroup. If you are
seeing
ads it is due to how you are accessing the group and has nothing
to do with the group.
