Started WW on 1/1 or there about. Lasted only a few days. Thought I
could do it without writing everthing down. Mistake.

Restarted 10 days ago and so far have lost 3 pounds.

Yesterday morning I took the first exercise type walk in my life. It
was 17 degrees and the wind was blowing hard. It was really
enjoyable. Already been out again today. All I can make right now is
..35 of a mile but it ain't bad for a guy almost 70.

Weight goal - lose 50#

Exercise goal - Walk to the main road and back - 2-1/2 miles.

do you have a dog to walk?... cause those things will keep you going
regardless and you never know how far you've gone til you turn around to go
back home... *G*... they give you a look that says 'what? you're giving up
already???' and it just inspires you slightly...

yeah... I have a very hyper black lab...

awesome to walk with, and will fetch anything...

Richard, you've learned from what happened in January so now you are off
to a very good start. This is a very supportive group. The exercise
will come and each day just try to increase it a little bit more. Once
the weather is warmer for you, it will be easier too.

I have 2 Greyhounds...My male who had a full racing career would walk
forever...My female who was tossed out at 1 1/2 years has no stamina and
tires at about 4 miles...No question the dogs make walking much more
fun...Of course an iPod can also makes it fun...GG
