because of the conversations we have had on this news group and at the
suggestion of ray miller I once tracked my weight like five times a day for
over a week. The purpose of the exercise was to look at trends of weight
and to desensitize myself from the tyranny of the scale. Last week I
related this story and felt good that I had gotten over my obsession of the
scale. This morning while waiting in line for the rest room the leader came
up and told me that the woman who had brought up the issues about the scale
had done WI early this week because of scheduling and that my story had
helped her, she tried the desensitizing and it worked for her... I was so
pleased it worked for her and even as pleased that I was able to help. I
love going to my meetings, Lee

glad to share. it really meant more to me as I thought about it, it is
sometimes so hard when I am doing it all right and not losing... to help
someone else in that position or any position was very gratifying, Lee

Lee would be an awesome leader! So would you.

It's all in the mindset, and the willingness to listen, and understand
people. You're both very good at that!

not leader material, and the physicality of it wouldn't work out but I am
interested in writing lessons or working on articles for the website... we
will see if either of those work out when I get too goal... and at the rate
I am going it might just work out as a good supplement to my SS retirement
benefits, LOL, Lee

she is right about you I think, but I am not energetic enough for in person
meetings... unless they bring back the express meetings where you work one
on one... Lee
