Default Back to walking, back to normal life

Hi gang,

Things are settling down for me alot and I am back walking my mileage
everyday which feels GREAT! I never realized how much
thinking/planning/sorting/coping I do during my walks in the evening. It's
my best thinking time. I have started back journaling my intake today and
have shed the 2lbs I put on during the mess. So, I have set a goal to lose
at least 6lbs this month and go from there. (no real reason for the # 6,
just that I know of 2 pairs of jeans that will fit me if I lose that) I am
sticking with at/about 2000 calories and limiting carbs still so, we will
see how it goes

Glad to see things are returning to normal for you. You did a great job of
not letting a stressful time completely throw you off course.

That's nice to hear. I hope that your kids are fine. Exercise makes me
feel rather good also, physically, although running is not as good for
thinking about stuff and sorting things out in my mind etc. Running is
good for meditating. You say you restrict your carbs, I am curious,
how many carbs per day do you eat?

On any normal day I will stay under 40 a day. That varies of course but I
rarely go over 60
I eat 0 bread or breading, 0 pasta, 0 rice, 0 potato, very little sugar/s if
any, lots of fresh veggies, good quality beef, pork, chicken, olive oils,
butter, cheese etc

I'm glad that things are going better for you - sounds like the chaos has
subsided a bit. Lately I've also rediscovered the joy of walking, though
it's on the treadmill due to the weather. I miss running a bit but I'll be
back into it eventually (I hope).

Jenn
