It was worse than I expected. Oh, well, onward and downward. I am
feeling positive because I know I can get it off again.

I'm sure I will, Lee. Just about to go shopping for veggies before
the storm hits this afternoon. Being Type 2 limits what I can have,
but I'm also determined to start eating healthier.

when you are looking for those vegetables, check the frozen section for
things listed as *** stir fry... I suggest this because there are lots of
them without sauces on them and they work very nice in a steamer and are a
nice mix/variety, my current favorite is asparagus stir fry, Lee

I mentioned a book in one of the other threads called 'what makes my blood
glucose go up... and down?...

I highly recommend it, it shows a lot of what you can have with combos
etc...

and of course veggies are almost always a free food... protiens, and fats...
oops... sorry that last one was a bad word... heh...

the worse of the anxiety is over at least... now when you step on the scale
it will be a lot easier because you'll know what you did and how!!

Thanks, Carrie, I'll be going to Chapters to look for the book, it
sounds like just what I need right about now, apart from vegetables.

Thanks, Lee. I never thought of steaming stir fry vegetables, the
asparagus would be delicious--love them, had brussel sprouts for
supper, which I don't love, but I'm trying not to get bored by
cauliflower and green beans.

I've only ever cursed the scale, except when it's cooperating with me,
which does happen. Thanks Willow.
