Afternoon pick me up?
Been struggling lately with fighting tiredness in the afternoons (isn't a
help in the afternoons here when we aren't busy and the phone doesn't ring). I don't want to go the caffeine or stimulant route... Does anyone have any tips or tricks that help through the drowsy afternoons?? Water helps me, so do fruits..
I'll do fruits and yogurt sometimes... that seems to help.. A nap helps too, like 15-20 minutes.. but it's hard to do at work.. hehe will~ "Matty" wrote in message ... I like to do joint exercises; basically just move your fingers, wrists, elbow, shoulder, neck, spine, hips, knees, ankles, and toes through their full range of motion until they have loosened up. Take a ten minute walk. ...and chew gum. Seriously. If I could only walk and chew gum at the same time :-) |

Others have recommended this too, but let me put in a vote for a short
walk -- indoors or out. That always works for me. A glass of water or other light drink might also help. Chris 262/130s/130s |
