I like to do my own list names when considering a monicker for someone
new.

We may get a second dog, a little black toy poodle, in the spring.
So I started with Ju Jube, Smudge, Ink, etc.

I made an extensive list and when walking in the park and watching ten
year old Scarlett sniff for mushrooms, which she does in the fall, I
decided "Truffle" is the perfect name for a black toy poodle.

Truffle sounds like an excellent name for the new puppy. Our current cat
acquired her name from a previous cat, Mr. B. He was always into things and
each time I returned home I would say "Now what has that dumb cat been into
today?". We simply named the next cat D.C. (dumb cat). The B in Mr. B had
no significant meaning. My daughter named him after watching a movie with a
cat named Mr. B.

Wasn't D.C. also the name of the cat in that old Disney movie "That
Darn Cat"?

Nope. 'twas not I.

What prompted it was that he's an asshole, plain and simple.

I would not put Igmus in that category, EVER!

I would. He's not all that different from Mu. Looks like a duck,
quacks like a duck... trolls are trolls. In other newsgroups, or at
least the other one I read, Ignoranus brags about his trolling exploits
as if it's something to be proud of rather than another demonstration
of what a truly pathetic freak he really is.

Yes, I've had people ask me if we named her after that cat. I've never seen
the movie.
