Actually, water makes a huge difference... members that drink their water
are more successful than those who don't... I don't know why.. but I know it
works.. so..

Crystal light (as well as the WW mix ins) can count as half your water....
the other half has to be plain..

Pour it in a glass and drink it with a straw. I like it with crushed ice.
Drinking water won't make or break this program as much as the portion
control and exercise.

Water and exercise are my main challenges. Haven't found a quick
answer for the exercise yet. But for water I get those Crystal Lite
Sugar Free Ice Tea things (or one of the several brands) you dump in
the bottled water to flavor it. I know it isn't as good as drinking
regular water, but I figure it is better than no water! And I drink
6-7 bottles easily a day with the additive compared to struggling for
2 or 3 bottles a day without it.

In my mind it is better. And of course I am out of those right
now...so going to go get some water from the kitchen to choke down
another bottle. Blech.

I don't have a problem getting in my water as long as I am at home or at
work. But traveling and finding bathrooms can be difficult so I cut back on
the water significantly. We'll be driving 6 hours Thursday night. I probably
will have 1 bottle of water the entire \trip. We will still stop for me
every 2 hours.

Could drinking water keep you full as well as keep you from eating? Many
times thirst can be mistaken for hunger.

That's one of many...

Water can be an anchor.. if you remember to drink your water you remember to
follow the plan...

Could be that a better hydrated body functions better, making it burn fat
easier, making one feel better, making it easier to exercise etc..

There's never one answer for anything..

if I keep my feet up while driving it seems to help and my mom is the same
way, I think its the lack of movement, combined with less water, Lee

Sorry to hear about the bloating. Since you travel a lot, maybe you need

to
work on determining what is causing the bloat. Is your water consumption
greatly reduced, are you eating saltier foods than normal, etc. Maybe
modifying your eating habits while on the road can minimze the damage. I
know it is one area that I still need to work on myself.

I think it has a lot to do with flushing sodium. As a program WW
doesn't have us actively monitor sodium intake (just Calories, Fat,
and Fiber mainly). Most of us keep an eye on it just by nature of
eating healthy, but there are pleanty of foods that are low in the
calories, fat, and fiber but make up for it with the sodium. In
addition to all the benefits of water itself it flushes that bloat
inducing sodium right outta there!!!
