Default Having wisdom teeth out...

Anyone have any suggestions about what 'mushy' foods are low-carb and
actually taste good? All I can think of is oatmeal, cream of wheat,
etc, which are all high carb.

Any suggestions, resources, references, war stories, or good, clean
jokes, would be appreciated.

I say, what kind of witch doctor did you see? Good heavens, I was playing
golf the next day and felt fine. That was taking all four out that I had
left. Had the other two out when I was younger while awake.

I hate being the downer but I had my wisdom teeth out 2 years ago in
December. Please be prepared for the worse, I wasn't.
Went in for the surgery, it was suppose to be short and sweet. Well, I

woke
up nearly 2 hours later. Something had gone wrong. The doctor had
accidentally slipped and had cut up into my sinuses!( remember that waiver
they have you sign right before you go under, says they wont be liable if
something goes wrong like that) Instead of the weekend recovery time, I

was
on heavy pain killers for over a month.
The most pain I have ever been in my life. I had to sleep sitting up for

a
month with a wrap around my head that held ice on both sides of my face. I
was also given prescription allergy pills to prevent any infection in my
sinuses. Also, I was told I couldn't blow my nose for weeks!
After the healing finally began all of the meds had weakened my immune
system, I got the worst flu of my life. Out of work another week or so.

Anyhow, to tell you how the story ends, I suddenly contracted optic
neuritis, which is basically when the nerve from you brain to your eye
swells up and makes you blind in that eye. Some months later I was
eventually diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The doctors think it

started
with the nasty flu I had after having the surgery.

I am not for certain saying that it was all because of the wisdom teeth
surgery, but that's where it started and ended within 6 months.

As far as food, jello is your friend, I always watch carbs but eat

Velveeta
and cheese for a month. Ended up loosing a lot of weight, funny when you
cant eat!

I have had 2 ordinary teeth out in the last 5 years, Im still waiting to get
my wisdom teeth done.

I was unable to eat for over 3 weeks each time due to infection. The dentist
recomended not eating anything which could get stuck in the gap, so I lived
on clear broth/soups etc.
