Geez, 1/4 of the world's total population lives in China and you have to
troll on a diet newsgroup for a date?

You must be REALLY ugly!

To be fair, that's not fair.

Interactive relationships betwen people in the 'real world' involve a lot of
variables. Less so, online. And in fact, some of the loneliest people I've
met in life were women who were both beautifl and sensitive. If that
doesn't make sense to you, send me email and I will explain it to you as
they have to me.

One of the beautiful things about an online relationship is that it can stay
"dry" and still have a measure of quality to it, even though it may lack the
human comfort of togetherness. But it beats nothing at all, or worse, a
"togetherness" where there is no love.

Yes that type of relationship *really sucks*.

I doubt you are considered poor in China if you are able to afford internet
access and a computer.

Peter's reply was obviously a joke in response to the OP's spamming.

For the record, I did not make the cruel comment about ugliness, Peter did.
Mine was about poverty and was not meant to be nasty.

Some people in China do try to contact people in the west in the hope that they
might find a way to immigrate. When in China last year, I met a family who
asked if I would take their small son back to the US with me. They were
serious, just wishing for a better life for him.

That's how I interpreted the original message but of course there are other
interpretations too.

Hey, fellow Low-Carbers!

Today I weighed in at 180, and that's thirty-seven pounds less than I did
earlier this year. I have a problem with the group because I might stay at
one weight for a few weeks or a month, and then suddenly drop punds over a
week or two.

My message to everyone is, DON'T GET DISCOURAGED! You might not see results
in a week or a month, but they will happen. Everyone's body is different.
You will achieve control of your body if you give it some time.

I'm about fifteen pounds away from goal, and I lowered goal to fit what I
want todayl

Round numbers are nice. Good job.
