Awww come on... You are your own worse critic. I took water aerobics
classes years ago when I weighed over 300 lbs. I was self concious at first
but then I realized that no one cared. I didn't care what other people
looked like and I am sure they didn't care what I looked like!

After the suggestions here I took a side view and front view picture of

myself
in a bathing suit. I'm worse than I already thought.
I was going to go swimming w/ my DD after her class today .. but forget

that.
I really shouldn't even be allowed to be seen in public.

I doubt other people will notice as much as you do. After all, we're our
own worst critics. Get that bathing suit on and go swimming. I always

grab
my cover up when I exit the pool. These things can hide quite a bitg

I
have spider veins on my legs but I don't let that keep me out of the

water.

Get some tan in a bottle. A slight tan makes everything look better! It
sure helps with the spider veins.

Well, I went I read the posts here and it gave me the courage to go!
THANK YOU!
But today .. i have more than a tan .. i look like lobster girl!
next time, remember to put sunscreen on me and not just the kids!

Sorry for being late on this thread, but that fake tan stuff looks

horrible! It's the *in* thiing, I know, but it really looks bad. If you have
light skin, thenk you are not made to look brown, it's as simple as that. If
you get a fake tan and you have white skin, it looks fake, not matter how
hard you work to make it look real..it never does. Just be happy you have
light skin, I think lighter skin looks much, much cooler than fake
tan...bleh!!!! Fake tan look like....fake tan!

Actually there are some high quality products out there now that if you're
willing to spend a few bucks to a great job when applied correctly. I use
it on my legs since they never tan, though my arms and face do and
absolutely no one can tell that my legs are a fake tan.

Well, that's good to know. Maybe out here they just use too much of it,
because so many women have "orange-y" colored leg and arms. It looks

really
bad. I guess it's the good quality ones that I don't notice. : )

Martha

I've seen a few of those orange colored tans - they do look fake. They're
not using a product suitable for their skin coloring. I use them to even
out my tan. I have a great tan on the thigh area above the knee but
everything below the knee is a little pale. That's what happens when you
ride bikesg
