few days in
A few days in and although im finding myself thinking about food im not
feeling hungry and sticking to breakfast, lunch and dinner and approx 2500 cals per day. Ive found a banana sorts me out when im feling hungry so they will do fine for the odd snack when required. Ive weighed my muesli and found a suitable sized coffee cup filled is exactly 100grams of my muesli and thats how much i put in the bowl of a morning. That will make it much easier in the morning by just filling the cup. I just have to measure the milk now so I can round off my breakfast to 500 cals. I expect to make it through the weekend eating properly which will be an achievement in itself. 350/350/210 |

They also tend to go through your digestive system pretty quickly leaving you hungry again sooner. Not that bananas are "bad" they are great for you nutrient wise in my opinion, just need to be properly placed within one's WOE. Also, are you asking yourself if your *really* hungry or are you what I term as head hungry? Meaning are you just needing to satisfy a hand to mouth oral thing? Even a year and some odd months into my WOE I still ask myself "are you really hungry suz?" every meal/snack. It works for me. I would exchange the banana for some nuts/seeds, beef jerky, sugar free ice pops, pork rinds, fat-free cheese chunks, cottage cheese, strips of grilled chicken, an avocado, or something leafy green with a splash of dressing perhaps. Of course all of the above need to be portioned and accounted for. Good luck with the weekend mini-goal, I think its very important to take your new lifestyle one day at a time and remember you didn't get to your current weight overnight, it will take time to get it off.. but it will go Susan 280/186/140 |

You *will* meet adversity. You *will* have challenges. The cool thing is, you can knuckle down and face them and work through them and solve them. That's the skill you were using when you figure out a way to measure your muesli. Another person might have whined, "it's too hard to tell!" :-) Unlike Susan, I like bananas. I tend to eat my fruits with a bit of protein, so I rarely have just a banana alone, but I think they're great nutrients and very nice for keeping things moving, if you know what I mean. One way we like to eat bananas is to slice a V out of the banana and put peanut butter inside the groove. It's just a dite of peanutbutter, but enough to make it stick to your ribs. (Another way to look at it is it lowers the glycemic load of the meal.) Dally 244/172/168 (after a visit from the whoosh fairy this week) |

I frequently eat one during my Olympic lifting workout, which I do after work and need some sugar in my system. Congrats on the whoosh fairy visit, Dally :-) Chris 262/140/ (145-150) |
