Susan 280/186/140 I always thought your goal was too low for a woman with significant bones and muscle mass, (like me), but Imay have to set my goal lower yet. My new lean body mass measurement suggested I might have to put 164 as my goal. (I really, really hate how my "perfect" goal weight is perpetually ten pounds away, where the ten pounds in question are sitting on my butt and thighs.) Dally 244/172/168 It's funny how that works. I am also large boned, and still have a good bit of muscle, but unfortunately it goes down as the fat does. I'd never have thought I wanted to be this low, but it just seemed right. I'm now thinking I don't really want to go back up to 145-150, but haven't officially changed that as my goal range. It wouldn't break my heart to be in that range, certainly. Chris 262/139/ (145-150) {Today's my official update day, and my new average is 139. It may well be up after last night's dinner, but I don't know that I'm likely to make it to the gym today, which is where I weigh myself, so that's it for now.) |

Dally 244/172/168 I think it may be too low as well. I initially picked it because all my life my trim/thin sister has been 135-140(how's that for a mental hang-up?) and I have used her as a gauge since I can remember. I think for me its just a # to work towards. When I get to what I feel is a combo of healthy, trim, stronger and more attractive weight I may stop there and re evaluate things. Rather its 160 or 140 or what-have-you. I may look like **** at 140 and want to maintain at a higher weight, don't know yet. I am getting impatient though. I do know that much. Right now my immediate goal is to get past that 100lb mark of lb's lost. On another note I got my treadmill on Friday and I am increasing my walks by a 1/4 mile a day until I reach 7 - I have been doing 5-6 depending on the weather. So now since cooler months are coming and I can get far more time in walking if I am at home maybe I can increase my losing pace. We'll see Again, congrats on the whoosh, I know you were feeling a little stalled recently. Susan 280/186/140 |
