Food & Exercise -- 9/6/2004 (yesterday)
Food:
8:00 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese 11:15 (home): protein shake made w/ 2 peaches, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1 cup f/f Greek yogurt, 1 scoop protein powder 2:00 (home): 136g turkey meatloaf w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese & catsup 5:00 (out running errands): 1 1/2 oz. mixed nuts 7:30 (watching a movie on TiVo w/ DH): 43 oz. air-popped popcorn; 5 mint meringue cookies Totals: 1329 calories, 44g fat (30%), 132g carbs (40%), 112g protein (34%) Exercise: None to speak of -- skipped the gym as Tom was away and I just didn't feel that much like going on my own. I'll go early tonight and do some bench press with him before my regular workout with Ahmed. Chris 262/139/ (145-150) |

1st high carb day (out of 2 planned high carb days this week)
Food: Breakfast: cottage cheese & ham (100 grams cheese, 7 thin slices of ham) Lunch: pastry with cheese Snack: melon w/Splenda (1/2 cup, a few drops Splenda) Dinner: whole wheat spaghetti w/tomato sauce and mozzarella, 0.75 glass of red wine (50 grams spaghetti, 1/2 Ts cooking salt; 250 grams tomato sauce, cca 0.7 Tbs light cooking cream, 1/2 Tbs Tamari soy sauce, a drop of Splenda; 200 grams of mozzarella, dash of black pepper) Water = 7 cups vitamin C drink Exercise: don't plan to do any due to the myalgia (car accident yesterday); the numb feeling is gone, but I just want to take it easy for today. According to FitDay = 79 grams of carbs (total 1483 calories).
