At least maintaining is better than gaining. Hang in there Laura.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I met with the doctor this afternoon.
First thing on the agenda is to do a complete workup to check my thyroid

and
blood sugar. My dehydration issue *might* be a sign of diabetes. Let's

hope
not. As for my plateau, she said that many women plateau. I just have hit

it
earlier than I expected. She said it probably was just a coincidence it
happened so soon after starting Curves. She said I might also be doing too
much. Between work, Curves and home my life is pretty full. I am going to
limit my number of Curve sessions to 3 or 4 each week. As for the other
symptoms some of them might be pre-menopause (oh, great!. Just what I need
I'm only 48.). She suggested trying some of the herbal estrogen

replacement.
More importantly she said don't give up on the WW. She was pleased that I
had lost 26 lbs and that the plateau will break eventually.

So for now I'm hangining there until I go for the blood work up on the

11th.

One other thing that we discussed was my going to a dietician. She has to
first check to see if my insurance covers it. I'll start a new thread on
this topic later. Got to go deal with the tricker treaters at my door

before
DH has a fit. Catch you later this evening.

I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow afternoon. Maybe she'll

I am glad you went to see the Dr. Don't worry about the menopause, I have
been having hot flashes since 35 and once you figure out that is what it is
then it does get easier, let us know if the steps you have taken help,
continued good luck, Lee

No answers yet. I go for the blood and urine test this week. Then we'll see.
As of this morning I'm still at 219.
