Default My New Year's Resolutions

1. Be more consistent about working out. I started out at Curves going 3
times a week, lately (before getting sick) I was only going 1 or 2 times a
week. No good reasons, just excuses.

2. Start using FitDay again. Even just having to write things down makes
me eat less.

3. Stop snacking when I'm not really hungry. I should just chew a piece
of sugarless gum instead. Even if the sugar alcohols DO count, it's still
better than eating extra nuts.

I could. But most of my snacking lately has been because my mouth is
bored, not because I'm actually hungry.

Good resolutions. Can you have some safe snacks? Like, say, cucumbers?

I wish Fitday would subtract the fiber from the carbs. If it did then
I might use it but for now I find a small notebook, a pencil and my
carb and fiber counting book very handy.

Why the need to chew in between meals? Can't you just train your
mouth to go without the constant chewing instead?

If you check the box "Calories Eaten Today" they do show the total carbs and
a separate line under it for fiber. It's easy enough to subtract one from
the other to get your day's net carbs.

I think Fitday is terrific for my own food watch and weight tracking.

Yes I know but I am, by nature, lazy and would sometimes like it all
handed to me on a silver platter. :-)
