Default A twist in the tale

Hi folks,

Well, as you may recall, I went on holiday, gained some, lost a little.
Then we had a long holiday weekend here, so I didn't weigh in last week.
Not that I went over particularly, but my point distribution was all out. I
had a feeling I went up a little.....

This week I've been a tad more virtuous than usual, used less APs, but I
wasn't feeling it. Spent a weekend in London with my brother and his wife,
which involved several large cocktails, which are real hard to point.....but
I did my best. Least the food came in on the healthy side. I sure did like
the cocktails - and I danced some of them off at the club later.

However, I still wasn't feeling great somehow. And then, miracle of
oddity, my period arrived! Well - they've been AWOL since February some
time, so it came as a bit of shock! (They tend to go missing - no cause -
just me & diet & exercise probably). Anyway, that probably explains away
some of the feeling bloated, and less than great tummy wise, but also left
me clueless as to what to expect at this week's WI. Back in the day, I used
to put on a bit before hand, and then lose after, and I'm in the middle. In
the middle, feeling a bit slimmer than I had been, but not as slim as I have
been.

Good morning scales........can't avoid them two weeks running. I stood on
them a few times - it takes them a while to settle to a figure we can all
agree on, but at least that's the same every time. And the result? Well,
the same as last time, so that's a maintain over the two weeks. Sure, I'd
have liked a loss, but I half expected it to be up more due to the TOM. And
hopefully, when that's behind me, I can start that downwards path
again.......

Roll on next week - the suspense is killing me! *grin*

Oh, those weekends away! After the do in the hotel the other weekend, I
know exactly what you mean!

However, I still wasn't feeling great somehow. And then, miracle of

Krys, I have NEVER been regular - not even when on the pill! I'm more
regular now with me little plastic insert than even before, but I still
suffer from perepetetic TOM! Sod's up the weight loss nicely when water
retention happens at any time at all! I find a couple of mugs of
Whittard's Lemon, Ginger and Echinacea herbal infusion helps a lot.
Makes you play like a fountain, but the boobs and ankles go back to the
right size! When the water retention starts, start drinking the tea: a
couple of mugs during the morning (I try first thing when I get up, and
one mid morning) are usually enough, and feel better than taking tablets.

Good morning scales........can't avoid them two weeks running. I stood on

Glad you managed to maintain in the face of adversity! ;D

Good job maintaining. Aren't you getting close to goal? That might explain
why it is getting harder for you to lose.
