Default Back from Cruise

Hi All,

Just a quick update until next week........

Back from cruise - it was fun food could have been better
From the moment I left my meeting weeks ago, I was officially on vacation
which meant "a little indulgence" LOL!
OK, time to come clean - last Friday's WI.........I went up 6.4 lbs......I
was actually quite happy, but should I return my 75 lbs magnet?? NO
WAY!!!!!!........I made a choice and that was to indulge a bit and enjoy my
vacation!
Got back OP the first day I returned (2 days before WI) and what looked like
an 8lbs gain only turned out to be 6.4 lbs - so I was pretty OK with that.

This week has gone much better, but seriously stressed over the fact that
one of my client's has screwed me for over $7500 - not happy about that at
all, but life will go on. I've never been much of a stress eater, but I
think I really gave in this week, but reached totally for fresh fruit and
skim milk instead of junk.......result at today's WI (one day early) was
down 0.8 lbs.

I had to WI in early because I'm heading to Ottawa for the weekend. My
niece and her husband know that I've been doing WW for over a year now and
they've planned their meals to suit my needs - what a great family I have eh
???? )

So I think staying in control this weekend will be fairly easy.......We're
off early in the morning, so hopefully, I find some time mid-week during the
week to chime in some posts........

I feel like I've missed so much - I know it sounds weird - but I've really
missed not reading and interacting with everyone's posts

Welcome back, Eddie. And congratulations on reaching for fresh fruit for
your stress!

Try a huge slice of watermelon sometime. Low calorie and very satisfying!

I love watermelon Doug!!!!! it's just takes so much damn roof in the fridge
...........I like my fruit chilled. They've been breeding this really
small watermelon in the USA - they are only slightly larger than a large
cantaloupe or honeydew melon........seedless and yummy! I also love fresh
pineapple, nectarines, plums, cherries, peaches and strawberries.........in
the winter I get locked into a routine of about 5 apples a
day...........hehehehe........

It's great to hear from you Doug!

Eddie,

The rind is what takes up the space, you can take a melon baller, or
slice up the watermelon into chunks and keep it in a
Tupperware/Rubbermaid type of container, it keeps about a week that
way and takes up a lot less room in the fridge.

Debbie

Most melons can be cut up and stored this way. I never have room for
watermelon in my refrigerator but cut and chunked, it works out well.

I like my watermelon chilled too. It is chilling now, waiting to be eaten in
a late afternoon snack.

Surely I have the smallest refrigerator of anybody here in my tiny Tokyo
house.

Of course I only buy 1/6 wedges at a time...

Hi, there, fella! Sounds like you had a blast and did just fine! That
little gain will soon go. I bet you were a lot more active on this
holiday than you would have been in the past!

Welcome back, glad you had a good time on your cruise. I'm sure that 6.4
and more will be gone in no time - concentrate on being OP now!

Too bad about your client and the money he owes you. Isn't there a bill
collector or someone you can hire to get it out of him? We had a client
that tried to screw us over as well, but I hired a bill collector and had
the money within a few weeks. Those bill collectors can be kind of scary
sometimes! They do keep a portion of what they get, but heck, you get most
of it! Good luck with that, I hope you get it eventually.

Have a good weekend at your niece's place.

Brenda
