Well, yesterday I had none at all (unless you count my catsup & dill
pickle slices :-) ). Today I had a salad lunch with greens, tomatoes,
and asparagus, so that's something -- likely all for the day, though
-- maybe I can try to work in something else. And I did buy salad
ingredients for tomorrow's lunch.

Even though I didn't fully participate, it did help me rediscover ways to
get more veggies into my day. Thanks.

Lunch - lettuce & tomato on my turkey sub. This was lunch provided at
"Wheelin' for Fitness" program.
Dinner - salad with carrots, beets, onions, tomatoes, green peppers
Skin off baked potato (I don't like the potato, just the skin)

I usually have some vegetables each day but the challenge did make me more
aware of the amount.

Fruit & Veggies for the day:

Mango, strawberries & papaya for breakfast with vanilla yogurt and
granola (spectacular way to start the day!)

Vietnamese sandwich for lunch (yumm!!!) with cucumber and carrot and
BBQ pork from one of the dozens of Vietanamese sandwich places in my
'hood.

Dinner: spinach salad, including red onion, mandarine orange slices
(fresh), walnuts and balsamic vinagrette (homemade)

Yesterday I had lots of veggie in some Tai food. I avoided the rice and had
a salad as well.

For me, a fruit challenge would be about equivalent to an ice cream
challenge :-)
