I see people on TV who are fat and some of them do more running and

Saturday morning cartoons aren't reality.

I was really pleased that the military doctors and dieticians have
shifted their emphasis. They still do the weight-watch for many of
the active duty jobs. But for family and retirees they have shifted
to eating good food and getting exercise.

The doctors have just given up on your fat ass.

Its also a much less
stressful tact which is good since stress is more harmful than
obesity.

The truth hurts.

In fact, I think they are beginning to realize that much of
the harm of obesity is that their old methods caused so much stress
to the person.

The doctors have just stopped trying to talk some sense into you.

A happy fat person is better off than a stressed out dieter.

Weight loss diets do work. The problem is most people revert back to
their gluttonous ways again. With that said, it's best to take off
weight slowly with a permanent lifestyle change. In that regard, you
appear to be doing the right thing.
