HHH week3 Laura (LJ)
4 sessions at Curves last week. This is really addictive.
We were away this weekend visting my mom. She brought up her normal statement of "you are not losing fast enough". I kept my cool this time and said I was fine with it. Maybe she'll accept that answer for a while. I won't be seeing her again until Thanksgiving week. Our turn to do elder-care again. Haven't looked at the scale yet. Hopefully, the damage from this weekend was not too bad. We ate out both Saturday and Sunday night plus fast food for lunch and dinner today. I am hoping that I made good choices--mostly chicken and fish, minimal desserts and bread. If I counted everything correctly I did not use any flex points until today. Will be eating home for the rest of the week plus I will try and up my water consumption to flush out some of the salt consumed this week. Have a good week everyone. Got to go unpack and get caught up on my mail and newsgroups. -- Laura |

Good luck with your Mom Laura. I'm sure that once you're at goal she will
be very happy for you. I find that people who don't have experience with weight loss and a healthy diet, think that the quick "starve yourself diets" are the best kind, but little do they know..... -- Brenda 209/177/150 NYNY goal 160 "Laura" wrote in message ... 4 sessions at Curves last week. I'm not sure about my mom. She has struggled with her weight all her life or
so she claims. As a result she is obsessed with other people's weight. That is the first thing that she comments on people. When I was first married I weighed 135lb. At 5'3" that is well within WW guidelines. But in her mind I was severely overweight and kept telling me so. I seriously doubt that I will ever make her happy with my weight. I have learned this summer to just blow her off because it is painfully obvious that she'll never be happy no matter what I weigh. My husband and I repeatedly explained to her this summer that WW recommends 1-2 pounds a week as being healthy. I don't think she cares whether or not it is healthy, she justs wants the weigth off of me as fast as possible. But as I said above, she'll never be happy with what I weigh. -- Laura "Brenda Hammond" wrote in message ... Good luck with your Mom Laura. I'm dehydrated and consipated. Something is definitly messing up my system. |

Hi, Laura, Nice work with the exercise. You have a good attitude about your
mom. Some people don't understand about weight loss and keeping it off. At least you can get pass that and focus on the program. -- Take Care Catherine 154/134.4/136 Lifetime 6/99 Next personal goal 133.2 "Laura" wrote in message ... 4 sessions at Curves last week. Hi, Laura, I tried the tablespoon of lemon in hot water and it helped me. I
think it was Anna who wrote that this was part of WW in England some years ago. -- Take Care Catherine 154/134.4/136 Lifetime 6/99 Next personal goal 133.2 "Laura" wrote in message ... I'm going to start keeping track on how much water I am actually drinking these days. It may have dropped since I started back to work after labor day. I used to drink at least 4 or 5 sports bottles of water per day. Maybe it has dropped without my realising it. I'm just so tired of feeling bloated and gassy all the time. |
