18 Ways to Stay Healthy This Holiday Season
Qilt wrote:
Sounds like a wonderful game plan! I know you will do great!! See thanksgiving will be great! It also helps a LOT that I've got about 6 weeks under my belt of lc .. makes it easier since I KNOW what will happen if I don't stick to those guidelines I see someone eating a burger with a bun, and the idea almost nauseates me! [Eeek. I just noticed the rest of this thread was cross-posted....] Yes, I'm sure I am not going to derail--partly because I am very afraid and aware of how I have gained weight in the past. It is just oh-so-easy to say, when you are eating this way and have seen success, that you can go off and do what you want--that you will keep things under control and monitor your weight and go back on when you have gained just a little weight. But then, when you are back under the influence of carbs, that slips your mind--or is the LAST things you want to do. So, you put it off, and then the weight accrues. Ack! So, any cheat I have on a holiday has to be totally planned for, with NO exceptions. -- Jean B. |
