No diet will work for you until you yourself make up your mind to lose the
pounds.

Welcome Jewellyn!

There is hope for you. Many people, some of whom are on this
newsgroup, have done very well on Weight Watchers. Since you are not
a dieting newbie you know that success has some to do with choosing
the right weight loss plan for you, some to do with your
metabolism/body chemistry and a lot to do with your determination to
make it work.

What I like about Weight Watchers is that I can eat any food I want,
balancing my choices out so as to provide good nutrition and variety.
Reading this newsgroup has given me some ideas about other food
options and a few recipes here and there.

You can do this! At first it may seem like a lot of work
understanding the program but it soon becomes second nature. One bite
at a time, one meal at a time, one day at a time, one week at a
time--you can succeed.

There is certainly hope...In fact it's not just a wish but a reality...The
only thing standing in the way is you...Commit and it works...It does not
happen by magic and it takes a time,...but the light is at the end of the
tunnel...Welcome....GG

Hi and welcome, jewellyn! I'm fairly new too. I'm doing the flex plan and
going to meetings; I don't know much about WW online. I'm not losing at
record speed. I've lost 4.2 lbs in two weeks. But I do see hope with this
plan. I'm feeling better because I'm eating better. I am getting used to
smaller portions and learning more about healthy eating. I came from
another (online) diet group, and I like this plan better because it's less
restrictive. I know I haven't been at this long, but I think there's hope
for both of us. :-)

Take care and let us know how you're doing!
