My hair grows too fast!
Man, back before low-carb, I always liked having long hair to hide more of
my fat face, but it just wouldn't grow fast enough for me. Now that I look better and I don't want to hide my face anymore, I got a shorter hair cut. It has been exactly one month since I got it cut, and I am in desperate need of a trim. The guy who cut it said to come back every six weeks for a trim, but it already looks way too bushy. He cut it so that it was covering just the tops of my ears, now my ears are completely covered. Thanks, low-carb! -- Michelle Levin http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws. |

Thanks, low-carb! Wow, does the LC really make your hair grow faster?? I'm going to time it, by writing down on the calendar next time I need a trim. I'm actually trying to *grow* my hair long - when I was heavier, I wore my hair in short, mannish, conservative styles (and dressed about the same way). It however 1) tends to be quite dry, 2) is naturally curly and 3) tends to dred up when I grow it. Ah well. I don't know about hair, but I notice far, far less acne on LC. My skin is much better. |

My hair grows faster now, too. I've noticed a definite difference in how
shiney it is, also. There have been times when I've stared at a strand of my hair that fell out while brushing, and can't believe how shiney even a single hair is. My favorite side-effect of low carb is my acne-free skin. So glowing and pretty, too, I can't believe my natural untouched face can look this good. (that's why I have one photo in my album that is just a closeup of my face - something I never would have done before) I don't know about hair, but I notice far, far less acne on LC. My skin is much better. Spring LC since 1/1/04 260/208/170 http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/spr...=/55b8&.src=ph Size: 24W / 14 / 10 |
