NYNY Laura (LJ) week 7
Aren't scales fun??? I hope you really HAVE broken your plateau! Good luck
in reaching you NYNY goal. I think I picked 229 which is totally doable but I just have to work HARD at it! -- ~Kristin O~ 272/238/172 Here's our FAQ: http://www.didian.com/asdww/ and welcome notice: http://www.geocities.com/welcomenotice/index.html "Laura" wrote in message ... I'm not even sure what my correct weight is today. I got on the scale before my shower and it read 217.5. I shook my sleepy head and jumped into the shower. After my shower I checked the scale in 3 different locations. Got 3 different readings: 218.5, 219.5 and 220. We'll ignore that last one for obvious reasons g. I'll go with the middle one and call it 218.5.. Let's hope that the scale is still below 219 tomorrow morning. Because if it is, it means my plateau has broken. yahoo. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that this is the start of a new downward trend. I might still reach my NYNY goal. 6 weeks to lose 8 lbs. That's doable. cool. Things are getting crazy around here as we get ready for the Thanksgiving holiday and I am not going to be online as much for the next week or 2. Good luck to all and have a good and healthy Thanksgiving. -- ~~Laura (LJ)~~ 246.5/218.5/150 223/218.5/210 NYNY started WW 4/21/03 |

NYNY Laura (LJ) week 7
Ooh, the chinese buffet would do it to me big time, in the form of water
retention! Good luck over the next few days. -- Brenda 209/172/150 NYNY goal 160 "Laura" wrote in message news Me, too. We won't know for sure for a few days. I was back to my dreaded 219 this morning but I did go to the Chinese buffet last night. "Brenda Hammond" wrote in message ... But if you do go up, you'll know it's only water. Chinese food is notorious for making people retain water. Some of it is water but I probably ate too many points. I am making up for it by not eating my AP yesterday and watching what I eat all week. Have thanksgiving dinner to think of. |

They are also frustrating. Put mine in the wrong spot and I instantly gain 2
pounds. That's why I am not sure what was happening that morning. Could have been the location of the scale and not a true reading. Yesterday morning I was back to my ever present 219. arrgghhh. When I picked my NYNY goal (210) I was steadily losing a pound a week so this goal was very reachable. NOT! I haven't lost anything in the 5 weeks. I'm skipping WI this week because I am away from home this week. I am being very careful about what I am eating so I hope that all of our eating out does not do me in. Maybe the fresh air and sunshine will help move the scales downward for me when we get home Saturday night. "Kristin" wrote in message ... Aren't scales fun???
