A couple of weeks ago I went to the doctor to have a checkup. She looked at
my chart and noticed that my total cholesterol 2 years ago was 230. It was
that high before I gained the weight.

So when I went back today for my follow up I expected her to put me on
cholesterol medicine. NOT!!. According to my blood work by new total
cholesterol is now 171! All levels good. The doctor was quite proud of me.
All without medicine. Just good healthy eating thanks to WW. I am eating
less meat, very little fat, or cheese and exercising.

So there are other reasons for joining WW besides losing weight.

Congratulations Laura!!! That is really great news!!

I have a stupid question--what does NSV stand for? I've tried to figure it
out, being new and all, but just can't--could someone please tell me?

Non-Scale Victory - any good result of the diet that is not directly
tied to the scale - fitting smaller clothes, losing inches, or getting
better medical reports, compliments, etc
