Default Can We Return To Regular Programming

I'm trying to wait it out...really I am...I figure the posts about
call girls in China and India will drop off sometime..and some of the
other junk that shows up here will fall by the wayside too. But man oh
man, I really wish we could return to regular programming. You
know...talking about a low carb WOE.

Sheesh, someone asking how to "loose" some weight at this point or
maybe mentioning the "Adkins" diet would be better than the stuff I
found here today.

Sigh. I'm really missing the good old days this morning. I really am.

What I'm wondering is, should one only do business with call girls that
eat low carb? ;-)

I don't see the messages you complain about because I filter out any
subject that has "escort" in it as well as several of the related email
addresses. I'm using Thunderbird which has a newsgroup filtering system
that is highly lacking in options and it still works for me on this problem.

I stop in from time to time and it does seem that most of the old "regulars"
are gone and very few "newbies" are arriving. But that appears to be the
fate of usenet in general. Pity.

First, let me say congratulations on reaching your goal weight.

There are some helpful people in this newsgroup, who have helped me a
lot. Some good things are still happening, even if you have to wade
through the spam to find it. What bothers me, are the messages that are
cross posted to several newsgroups.

Thanks Becca. I have managed to maintain my weight at 122 for several
years now, but it's an every day thing. I can't ever get complacent or
think I have the tiger licked. Nope. I treat myself like a
junkie...seriously...because if I fall off the wagon I know it's a
long way down and a longer way back.

I eat a well balanced, low carb, fairly low fat diet. No junk. It
really works for me. I can't do high fat (digestion problem!) so I've
had to work all the kinks out of my own custom plan. I think in the
end, everyone does. Come up with a system that they can live with for
life.

Good luck in your own plan. I just wish this group could go back to
the way it was...sigh...I really got so much help and support here
when I needed it.
