Can we include bathing suits and shorts and tanktops? Otherwise I'm
out - as that's my casual wardrobe for 8months out of the year.

Anyhow Becky - YOU CAN"T SPOT REDUCE!!!!

I don't mean to sound rude here - but stop doing 100's of crunches.
STOP!

Treat your abs as you would any other muscle group. Work them no
more than 3 days a week. Grab some weights, do weighted crunches -
3 sets of 10 to 15 reps. NO MORE.

For me - (well, short of the bootcamp)... my ab routine doesn't last
more than 5 to 10 mins. MAX. I'll do weighted crunches - do
twisting weighted crunches to get the obliques, then I'll do reverse
crunches or flutter kicks w/ ankle weights for weights. Sets and
reps. Then I'm done.

WHen you sit and do 100's of crunches - its really nothing more than a
cardio workout. You aren't building muscle that way.

If you want to lose the fat in the belly - you have to lose the fat in
the rest of your body. Eventually it will be lost. But when you
lose fat, it is taken from a distribution around your body - not one
spot. You can't Spot Reduce.
