Forget the coffee. You will gradually build up a tolerance to caffeine, and even if it does work at first, which I doubt, the effects will diminish. Also, you will be gittery and feel like royal crap for a while. The running part of your plan sounds good though. Start running or do some other form of exercise at least five days a week. Gradually increase the duration and/or intensity of your exercising. Replace the coffee with water. Also, learn to eat healthy: learn about some different ways of eating: there are a lot of different ways discussed in asd, and find one that you can live with. Then you will start burning fat. AL |

Does coffee stop or retard the fat burning process in any way? That is, if you drink coffee & skip breakfast - will the fat burning process be "as efficient" as if you had eaten a proper breakfast & drank zero coffee? Gene "Gene" wrote in message ... Weight loss occurs when you burn up more calories than you consume. I
drink a cup of coffee (or have a caffeine pill) before I go to the gym because it helps me work out harder. Coffee may help you lose weight if you use it to help you exercise more. You may also get a short-term weight loss from losing fluid - coffee is a diuretic. Skipping breakfast is usually a very bad idea. "Gene" wrote in message ...
