UK - Beer/Lager
I'm now out of induction and doing quite nicely but as 99.99% of all low
carb sites seem to be American I can't find the things we can buy over here (only endless amounts of stuff that we don't have in our supermarkets). Can I have lager on my low carb diet? I know diabetics can drink pilsner lager as all the sugar is turned to alcohol but what about low carbers and this plus other types of beers?. I've just come back from the supermarket shopping and not one single bottle/tin had a carb count on the packaging so I'm stumped. Any UKers out there with more idea than me? |

"Most" Tesco's have Michelob Ultra, it's even got Low Carb on the Label and it's 2.5 grams of carb per bottle, it's not bad, I think it's got a kind of peachy taste to it. Or if you are anywhere near Nottingham you can get Low C which I think is 2g per bottle, but we can't get that down south, I have to rely on a friends trips home for that! -- Gemini 191/177/147 http://www.aqyh54.dsl.pipex.com/diet.htm |

UK - Beer/Lager
I've lost loads, 50lbs so far. I have tried the low carb beer and liked it
but not the price. I have been having the odd bottle of guinness (and the odd Pi** up) it's not seemed to slow me down in any way at all :-) Clem "Dee" wrote in message ...
