Default A Good Low Carb Ice Cream!

Hey Marcusj, why not just killfile him and ignore his remarks?

Is replying to him really going to solve anything or make him quit?

The more people respond to him, the more he types crap in our NG. The more
he is ignored, the less he will post. Everytime someone posts a reply to
one of his stupid replies, he replies AGAIN.

Just some advice, take it or leave it, but I am not trying to start
anything, just trying to curb some of the back and forth crap between real
posters and this person.

Your asinine remarks are at grade school level at best.
Perhaps you should start learning from your students; there's no doubt
they
are better at the gratuitous insults that seem to be a major part of your
life.

My wife and I enjoy a Silhouette after dinner sometimes.
They are DELICIOUS.
I don't care for the vanilla with almonds as much as the other

flavors,
but
they all are very good.

Silhouette Skinny Carb brand pops. One gram of sugar alcohol.

No
gas.
The
Vanilla with almonds and caramel has a tiny bit of a Splenda

taste,
but
since it doesn't raise blood sugar and doesn't cause gas, it

works
for
me.
The chocolate peanut butter isn't quite as good--not a whole lot

of
flavor.

But I'm thrilled to find a low carb ice cream that isn't full of
lacitol
and
makes it possible to both eat ice cream and socialize with human
beings
afterwards.

So stay fat and stupid. Obviously you're too sensitive to do otherwise.

I've had JC killfiled for several months, but...as I have pointed out
before, and at the risk of starting yet another argument...killfiling
doesn't do much good if people like the two of you keep QUOTING HIM! :/

Here's what I posted a month ago on the subject:
================================================== =========================
I don't do a whole lot of shopping at Albertsons here in San Jose, as
the Safeway store is more convenient. Often, however, the Albertsons
has a greater selection. I found an Ice Cream Bar that's quite good.
Made by Silhouette, it's called a SKINNY CARB BAR.

The thing that caught my eye was the list of ingredients. I had
previously been using Dreyers NSA ice creams. It comes in two
varieties (several flavors each), one just No Sugar Added and the
other No Fat as well as NSA. I don't care for the NF/NSA versions,
but thought the plain NSA weren't too bad. But even on those it is
reduced fat and the first ingredient is skim milk. On the Skinny Carb
Bars, the first ingredient is cream. It shows in the taste.

Two flavors so far, Vanilla Caramel Pecan (which has, truth to tell,
very little of caramel or pecans) and Chocolate Peanut Butter (which I
haven't tried).
================================================== ===========================

So, with a first ingredient of CREAM, you can understand why it tastes
quite good. Breyer's CarbSmart has milk, then cream, and is pretty
good, but the Dreyer's (a regional brand out west, that's NOT a typo
for Breyer's) that started with skim milk was only OK.

Each bar is 4 oz and they come 6 to a container, with 3 net carbs
after subtracting fiber (5g) and sugar alcohol.

They apparently started with lowfat products, since they have many
more of those and their website is at skinnycow.com - but I'm glad
they're braching out. Their top page says "Available Now" (which it
is - at least here) while their new products page is still on "coming
soon", so my guess is this has just recently been released.
