Default WW games...

We played a silly game in the meeting tonight. It was fun. Our Dear
Leader sat us at tables in groups, and gave us a pile of WW cookbooks
and a task. I was on table 2, and our task was:

Devise a low point menu for a three course dinner.
Add up the TOTAL weight loss for the table.
Say how you would look for support in weight loss...

Our meal was:

Courgette and Bree cheese soup - half a point per portion
Roast chicken with lemon and herb potato wedges - 3 points per portion.
We thought we'd accompany this with piles of zero point steamed
vegetables.
Red berry cheesecake mousse - 2 points per portion

Meal total: five and a half points per person. As we had two non
drinkers in our group, we decided we'd like fizzy spring water to go
with the meal.

The six of us had a total weight loss of 122 pounds! One of us was at
her first meeting, so had lost nothing so far...

We thought one of the best ways we could support weight loss was to get
together at one of our houses and cook the meal together, and share it,
discussing all our strategies and ideas for weight loss support.

I think we got the kudos of having the most interesting and lowest point
menu (despite one group having a vegetarian meal to look for, and the
third having lunch rather than a dinner!), the greatest weight loss, and
the best support idea!

Oh, and I lost 2 lbs this week - so my total gone is almost what it was
just before Christmas! Boy has this six pounds be haaaaard to shed!

This week the topic here was to look at the "NSVs" and celebrate them...

I've been trying to take the focus off me and back to the members.. I talk
too much and it bugs me...

So I had them talk in groups about what their victories are and why they
matter, and how it made them feel.. the week was great.. they got to share a
lot and then came back in big group to share with everybody..

I love those meetings.. they do take a little longer, but I feel the more
the members share with each others (as opposed to talking to me) they get so
much more out of it..
