The Man Who Thinks He Can!

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you dont!
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch that you wont.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow's will;
It's all in the state of mind!

If you think you're outclassed, you are;
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself
before you can win the prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the strongest or fastest man;
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can!

Author ~ Walter D. Wintle

Cheers!

Alex

The Man Who Thinks He Can!

The man who "thinks" he can or the man that actually does?

when the light goes on "fresh doughnuts" and you bite into a warm one at the
counter with fresh coffee...yeah you're missing something. BUT heartburn,
always follows. It is worth it, though. Elise.(fondly remembering her
youth).

I've never had one either, but the thought of how bad the acid reflux
would be from one of them and a cup of coffee is enough to keep me away.
I can't even fathom what the nutritional information for one is.

I've never had one, either, but I never found doughnuts to be a
particularly appealling junk food. I could especially never understand
the broad appeal of glazed doughnuts, which to me, taste like pasty
Wonder Bread drenched in no-flavor-but-sugar syrup. Blech. I saved
my meager junk food allowance for tastier things even before I ever
became overweight.
