There's a line in that movie that's said in response to the multitudes who pray for a miracle: BE the miracle! Amen to that. Sometime when you're looking for an evening's amusement, rent "Bruce
Almighty." There are worse ways to spend a couple of hours. I am determined to go bike shopping tomorrow. As soon as my contractor leaves, I'm outta here. I just hope I can find something that fits my budget and meets my requirements: A back fender so I don't get a wet black stripe down my back from wet streets. Something that's comfortable for commuting but appropriate as well for rails to trails riding and other recreational riding. Headlight and rear light for commuting. Yup, I could use a fender on occasion. I actually had some painted to match my custom road bike. They were on the bike for about 2 months, came off years ago and stayed off. The rack helps with the rear stripe.
